The First Step.

As I write this in early 2021, it is no longer unusual to hear of people making significant changes in their lives, whether by choice or by necessity. The past year has forced many people outside of their comfort zones to adjust to our new normal. But the thing that gives me hope is the incredible tenacity and resiliency of the people I speak with each day. This pandemic has removed many of us from our daily interactions with our friends, families, and coworkers, so it requires some extra effort to keep in touch with everyone. I have tried to maintain these connections (with some success) over the past year, and it is shocking how many of my friends and colleagues have endured hardship. Yet everyone has demonstrated a remarkable ability to persevere, and that fills me with optimism.

I have spent over 25 years in the advertising & media industries, working at global advertising agencies and premium brands at major media/publishing companies. It has been an incredibly fulfilling journey for me as I have had the opportunity to help brands grow across many different industry verticals and have worked side-by-side with remarkably talented people. The amount of change in this industry over these past 25 years is staggering, and it has been an amazing learning experience. I am motivated by the pace of change and disruption as they continually accelerate. More than ever, business leaders face multiple, simultaneous challenges requiring decisions that will make or break their organizations.

I found myself at a career crossroad after helping my former company (the best place I ever worked and my home for nearly 17 years) divest specific business units as they invest and build out new diversified revenue streams. This was the right strategic decision for them, and I’m confident they have a bright future ahead.

I decided that I was ready to change direction and founded G Squared Consulting to help business leaders navigate their diverse challenges and make decisions that will form a firm foundation for growth. I am proud of our talented teams' work in the past and the challenges we have overcome. These experiences and the knowledge gained will be valuable assets to G Squared’s partners moving forward. I’m excited about this new adventure, and I hope you’ll follow along as we strive to make a difference.
